Urgent Appointments
If you need to see a doctor or nurse urgently, please contact us as soon as possible. You can reach us in the following ways:
- Online – Use the askmyGP to book or request an urgent appointment.
- By Phone – Call us on 0161 368 3838
- In Person – Visit our reception, and we will do our best to assist you.
We will assess your needs and may offer you an appointment or direct you to the most appropriate service for your care.
Your patient triage request will be passed to a clinician to review. We will contact you within 2 working days either by text message or by phone or to arrange a face to face appointment. In order to be able to provide same-day care for acute illnesses, some of our urgent appointments are in Hyde Clarendon Mall, with the Healthy Hyde Team. We may also refer you to the local pharmacy to take advantage of the Pharmacy First Service.
If you need more urgent help call your GP practice. If it is closed visit NHS 111 online.
In an emergency call 999.
Routine Appointments
To request a routine appointment:
- Use the askmyGP service. We will respond within 2 working days. We are open Monday. to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm. Alternatively you can phone 0161 368 3838.
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you. Please note some of our appointments are in Hyde Clarendon Mall, with the Healthy Hyde Team.

Appointments by phone, can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment
Use the askmyGP service or call 01 61 368 3838 or visit the surgery to cancel or change an appointment.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need urgent medical advice between 6.30pm and 8am weekdays, during weekends or on Bank Holidays call 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk.
NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do.
For children under 5 call 111
For people aged 5 and over go to 111.nhs.uk
Home visits
If you are too unwell to get to the surgery you can request a GP to visit you at home. Please let us know as early as possible, preferably before 10:30. The doctor will only make emergency visits after that time.
If you telephone the surgery on 0161 368 3838 before 10:30am in the morning, we aim to contact you by phone to assess your condition, or visit you before 1:00pm the same day.
Home visits take up more of a doctor’s time, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen.
