Community Midwives

Antenatal clinics are held here by the midwives and the expectant mother’s health is monitored in conjunction with the doctor and the hospital.

Community Nurses

A district nursing team works within the local community. Their primary role is to provide continuation of care in the community at the request of the hospital or the practice doctors. They can be contacted on 0161 366 2386 between 09:00 – 17:00 on weekdays.

Health Visitors

A team of health visitors also work within the community with families with children under 5yrs.  You can contact them on 0161 366 2020 should you want advice or a home visit.

Attached Staff

Donneybrook Medical Centre also offers regular clinics run by specialist practitioners for patients with drug or alcohol problems. Appointments with these practitioners are arranged by referral from the GP.

We also offer dedicated clinics for smoking cessation and weight management. Please ask Reception for details.
